Create's decorative stones and blocks
Create brings its own building palette: seven stones of its own, each in six variants with stairs, slabs and walls, plus copper tiles that oxidise, framed glass, industrial iron and metal scaffolding. Here is what they look like, placed on the plate, and how to get them.

Six variants per stone
Each stone comes raw, then cut, polished cut, as cut bricks, small bricks, layered (textures that join horizontally) and as a pillar you can orient. The first four variants have stairs, a slab and a wall. At the stonecutter, any variant turns back into any other; only slabs cannot go back. The seven vanilla stones listed get the same variants.
Asurine

Asurine is blue, with an icy sheen. It comes in layers deep in the Overworld, with tuff and deepslate. Crushed, it gives Crushed Raw Zinc and zinc nuggets (30% each).
Crimsite

Crimsite is blood red, in deep layers with tuff and limestone. It is the iron stone: crushed, it gives crushed raw iron and iron nuggets (40% each).
Limestone

Limestone is pale beige and smooth. It comes in layers with stone, calcite and diorite, and can be made too: flowing honey touching lava sets into limestone.
Ochrum

Ochrum is ochre yellow, in layers with tuff, deepslate and dripstone. Crushed, it gives crushed raw gold and gold nuggets (20% each).
Scoria

Scoria is dark brown and porous. It is found in the Overworld and the Nether; you can also smelt soul sand into it, or let flowing chocolate meet lava.
Scorchia

Scorchia is almost black. It comes in layers in the Nether, near soul sand and basalt, and can be crafted: eight scoria around a black dye give eight scorchia.
Veridium

Veridium is copper green, in layers with tuff, andesite and smooth basalt. Crushed, it gives crushed raw copper and copper nuggets (80% each): an excellent copper source.
Copper tiles and shingles

At the stonecutter, one copper ingot makes two Copper Shingles or two Copper Tiles, with their stairs and slabs. Like vanilla copper, they oxidise: exposed, weathered, oxidised. Honeycomb waxes them; an axe or Sand Paper scrapes them.
Framed glass and iron

At the stonecutter, plain glass becomes Tiled, Framed, Horizontal Framed or Vertical Framed Glass, with matching panes. The Ornate Iron Window takes iron nuggets and glass. An iron ingot gives two Blocks of Industrial Iron; washed by a fan, they turn into Weathered Iron. The Metal Girder, made of iron sheets and andesite alloy, joins up into a frame.
Scaffolding

Andesite, brass and copper scaffolding come out of the stonecutter, two per alloy or ingot. You climb them like bamboo scaffolding, but they never fall: no distance limit. Clicking a scaffold with the same item extends it upward, or sideways up to 7 blocks.
Where to find them
Create's stone layers appear underground in the Overworld, between heights −30 and 70, in bands two to five blocks thick mixed with tuff, deepslate or calcite. In the Nether, scoria and scorchia show up between 40 and 90. A mining tunnel soon runs through several of them.
Build ideas
Limestone and copper go very well together for a train station; scoria and scorchia give Nether factories a foundry look; asurine bricks and framed glass make a fine greenhouse. Mix the variants of one stone to break up large flat walls.
